1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the ValuCar website and services operated by [Legal entity name], company number [00000000], of [registered address] ("ValuCar", "we", "us"). By submitting a valuation request or registering as a partner, you agree to them.

2. What ValuCar does

ValuCar is an introduction service. We collect details about your vehicle and make them available to approved partner buyers, who may submit indicative valuations. We do not buy vehicles, we are not a party to any sale, and we do not act as your agent or as a broker.

3. Valuations are indicative

• Any valuation is an estimate based on the information and photos you provide.
• It is not a binding offer and may be revised or withdrawn following physical inspection.
• Final price, payment and transfer terms are agreed directly between you and the buyer.

4. Your obligations

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to sell the vehicle.
• Information and images you submit must be accurate, current and your own to share.
• You must disclose material matters including insurance write-off category, outstanding finance, odometer discrepancies, import status and significant damage.
• You must not submit vehicles fraudulently, on another person's behalf without authority, or to manipulate the market.

5. Images and content you upload

You retain ownership of images you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store them and display them to partner buyers for the purpose of valuing your vehicle. We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading or unrelated to the vehicle.

6. Partner terms

Partner accounts are granted at our discretion and may be suspended or terminated at any time. Partners must:

• Use submission data solely to prepare and communicate a valuation for that vehicle.
• Not disclose, resell or repurpose seller data, or add sellers to marketing lists without consent.
• Honour submitted valuations in good faith, subject to physical inspection.
• Comply with all applicable consumer, data protection and motor trade laws, and hold any required FCA permissions where finance settlement is involved.

7. Fees

The service is free for sellers. Partner fees, if any, are as set out in the separate partner agreement.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for loss arising from your use of the service, the accuracy of any valuation, or any dealing between you and a buyer. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where liability can be limited, ours is limited to resupplying the service.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the service, and may amend these terms, by publishing an updated version on this page. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
