2. What we collect

• Contact details: name, email address, phone number and postcode.
• Vehicle details: make, model, year, colour, mileage, condition, finance status, your notes, and the exterior and interior photos you upload.
• Consent records: which consents you gave, plus the IP address and timestamp at the time you gave them.
• Partner account data: company name, contact name, email, phone, company number and VAT number.
• Technical data: session cookies necessary to keep you signed in, and server logs.

3. Why we collect it

• To pass your vehicle details to approved partner buyers so they can prepare a valuation.
• To send you your confirmation, reference number and the offers you receive.
• To operate, secure and improve the service, and to meet legal obligations.
• To send marketing communications — only where you have opted in.

4. Who we share it with

Approved partner buyers receive your submission so they can value it. They are contractually required to use it only for that purpose and not to resell it or add you to marketing lists without your consent. We also use service providers for hosting and email delivery, who process data on our instructions. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Marketing

Marketing contact is opt-in and separate from the consents required to process your request. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by emailing admin@valucar.co.uk. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect a valuation already in progress.

6. How long we keep it

Submissions and associated images are retained for [24] months from submission, after which they are deleted or de-identified. Consent records are retained for [7] years as evidence of consent. Partner account records are retained for the life of the account plus [7] years.

7. Security
